Welcome to DonorUnity.com (“we”, “us”, “our”, “Platform”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DonorUnity.com website, mobile applications, services, and related features (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using DonorUnity.com, you confirm that:

Donor: A user who donates funds via the Platform.

Campaign Owner: A user who creates a fundraising campaign.

Campaign: A fundraising effort listed on DonorUnity.com.

Content: Text, images, audio, video, and other materials uploaded by users.
3. Use of the Service
3.1 Eligibility
To use the Service, you must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract and at least 18 years old. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3.2 Account Registration
You may be required to register for an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information.

Maintain the security of your password.

Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Your account is non-transferable.
4. Campaigns and Donations
4.1 Campaign Creation
Campaign Owners must ensure that:

All information in any campaign is honest, accurate, and not misleading.

Campaigns comply with applicable laws regarding fundraising and charitable solicitation.

No campaign promotes hate, violence, fraud, or illegal activities.
We reserve the right to remove or suspend any campaign at our sole discretion.
4.2 Donations
Donations made via the Platform are subject to processing and may be final. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy (refer to Section 9).
DonorUnity.com does not guarantee that Campaign Owners will use funds for stated purposes; use of funds is at the Campaign Owner’s discretion unless prohibited by applicable law.
5. Fees
DonorUnity.com may charge fees for the use of the Platform, including service fees, payment processing fees, and other charges as disclosed at the time of donation.
Fees may be changed at our discretion, and changes take effect upon posting to the Platform.
6. User Conduct
As a user of the Platform, you agree not to:

Use the Platform for unlawful purposes.

Upload content that is defamatory, abusive, obscene, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.

Circumvent any usage limitations or security features.

Interfere with others’ use of the Service.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on DonorUnity.com, excluding user-generated content, is our property or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws.
By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, and distribute that content for the purposes of operating the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DonorUnity.com and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for:

Any claims related to campaigns or donations.
9. Refund Policy
Refunds are processed in accordance with applicable laws and platform rules. In general:

Donations may be refundable only in limited circumstances (e.g., fraud, technical errors).

Final approval of refunds is at our discretion.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Indian law, including:

Consumer Protection Act, 2019, as applicable to online services;

Applicable regulations under the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regarding payment processing and electronic transactions.
You agree that any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved through:

Mediation: Optional mediation before initiating court proceedings.

Litigation: If mediation fails, disputes will be resolved in the courts specified in Section 10.
